The First Ladies of the United States represent a social and historical cross section of our country from its beginning until today.
All of the First Ladies are dressed in period costumes that include matching satin undergarments, shoes, jewelry and hair fashions. Their costumes are much more elaborate than can be seen in pictures. The fabrics are all exquisite. All of these dolls have elaborate hair styles and their hair is perfect. These dolls have rarely been out of their boxes and are in perfect, mint condition.
ABIGAIL FILLMORE, 1850-1853, The death of Zachary Taylor promoted Vice-President Millard Fillmore to the White House in 1850. Abigail presided with dignity at all official dinners and receptions, occasionally with the assistance of her daughter Mary Abigail.
